Join us at Soulspace Gallery in downtown Oakland for ‘Faces of Fracking’ – a deep journalistic investigation into the impact of fracking and other extreme techniques on the people and places of California. Photographer Sarah Craig and writer Tara Lohan visited communities across the state to document how fracking affects the people who live there, those who may soon be impacted if the practice spreads, and how they are fighting back.

Come to the gallery opening Friday to see firsthand the people on the front lines of fracking and those engaged in the grassroots movement against it. At 8pm, Sarah and Tara will discuss their experience documenting the issue, with audience Q&A.

Soulspace is located at 1714 Telegraph Ave, nearby the FOX theater.
